A message from Commissioner of Education

The Florida Department of Education is pleased to continue helping students learn about the Holocaust through this website. The resources provided through the Commissioner's Task Force on Holocaust Education website offer an inside glimpse of the tragic history that profoundly affected the world, and I encourage you to actively learn more about this series of events. I am hopeful that students, teachers, administrators and all education stakeholders will take a moment to review the materials offered on the site to better understand and value diversity and cultural differences. It is through further exploration and information-sharing that we can better show tolerance and compassion toward mankind.
